Their friends and family are angry the council has cut down the tree, which had become a shrine, without any consultation. Pitisi Hatcher and Steven Schreuder met at Fringe Perth 2016 when they were working putting up the tents. Pitisi is also a circus performer and Steven makes dutch pancakes.
